Mine is just your average stockish SSII. Nothing special, really. Not even worth posting a picture of... I guess if you really wanted I could dig around and find one, maybe two, somewhere....

Umm, is this one of those threads where everyone is supposed to post pictures of their rig, again?

Tom,

That's no jeep. It's a 2BigBronco Chevy version.
its a 350 powered truck sporting 14 bolt rear and 10 bolt front. Lots of slef made parts - all Lockwood Industries. Besides, My project will be half Lockwood Industries when done. I will have Lockwood suspension, drivetrain mods, bumpers, cage, on other mod too many to list by the time we are done. All this will be Part of the 2BigBroncos 4x4 club. Check them out at
www.2bigbroncos.org (http://www.2bigbroncos.org)

My you have a few projects don't you. any of them run :D :bounce: :D :bounce2: :D

I dunno.. you're having a Scout turn-coat help you with your Scout project? :D

Y'know, as much as I chat with Pat n' Kev n' Mark.. Jason is the only one that's actually dropped by to pay me a visit. :D

Ritch

:D Yeah, they do! Heck, they're even insured...

Of the rigs I posted pics of, the only one not running (or insured) is the race truck.. for obvious reasons (technically, it runs.. I can wake the neighbors around 1am tonight if you'd like and they'll vouch for the motor..)
The Travelall was $200 and just keeps running.. I thought I was buying a 392 core. :D

The truck is usable as-is, but I want to (naturally) make some upgrades. The interior has been gutted (except for the seats).. the driver's floor is getting thin. I also want to build my spare 392 to repower it (vs the unknown 345 in it).

Truck "needs" the floor replaced, interior lined and the door panels n' such re-installed, stereo installed, the 392 built..

Later I'll fix the A/C, 'cage it.. and eventually it'll be converted to 4x4 (when the front rotors wear out, since you can't get new ones) and a buddy has a 3spd aux trans to put in it for good measure, too.

The grey SII just needs the fenders cut and then we can go wheelin' on Sunday. :D

I left out pictures of the "project rig".. :D

Here's my totally stock POS

C:\My Documents\My Pictures\New Truck\DSC00018.jpg

In a month or so I'll really get started. I can't seem to get it running again. I'm gonna try a new cap rotors and Points (I think it take points anyway) Maybe new wires if all that doesn't work. Already has new plugs and it runs really good when IT wants to. Other time it just won't catch. (ANY IDEAS WOULD BE NICE)

Hehehe.... looking at those pics... I remember the first time I ever took the Ducky to Clayton. First trail I ran up there was 3 Stage.
Crawled my front tires up (on 35" Boggers at the time)... lug lug lug... engine dies... no brakes... slid all the way back down (scared the livin SH** out of me!) Tried again, same thing... 3rd times a charm baby... got my front tires up and power-braked the shit out of it... popped right up and over it... man you talk about a pucker factor though... the first two times that thing rolled backwards... I thought it was over before it began... I think that was my Scouts way of punishing me before I ever even got started on it.... took a perfectly beautiful nice Scout and turned it into a beast... but... oh well :D :D :D :D

I currently run 4in SUA lift, with 1in lift shackles front & rear, Shackle Reversal with my own twist to it. I currently dont have a frontdriveshaft, casue the stocker wont fit since I moved my axle forward bout 1 to 1.5 inches. It will be SOA when I can get my other axles all the parts together to do so. Im about $700 shy of that goal. :( :( :(
Oh & I also trimmed the hell outta the front of the fender.

Yep, that's the one.

Very fun trail. The other pics were from French Creek, IIRC.

Yes, Bbut its actually not back too far. Besides, since we don't mount on the corner of the step the user can slide it forward to make up for that room. But if you want FULL use of ALL your stuff, you can to move it back.

Actually, if you were to get in or out of the rig, even with it moved back, it's not that combursome, and your feet don't smack the cage when you try and get in/out.

Our customers are usually surprised how well they can get in/out.

I'll have to get back with you on that. Front is darn near vertical without a bumper. We are building one expecially for this rig that sits way back. Rear is about the same (a little better) than a 2" lift on SOA. I'll measure everything when we get the engine back into it.

Look at all that nice, dry, grippy rock. Must be nice.

About the driest we see up here looks like this
http://www.nwbinders.net/Trails/HighRider/HighRider11_6/TheWall.JPG

Grippy HELL!!!!:flipoff2: Thats slick rock, and really slick rock when it gets sandy from all the dust in the summer, believe me I busted my ass trying to walk down it, one day. We got alot of muddy rock trails here in OK too, I think there alot of fun.

I guess my reply pic is a little more appropriate now. Well at least Old Scout might think so since I now meet the forum criteria. What was it 33's and 3:73's or somthing.

Now I've got 37's and 4:10's on full width, spring over, chevy set-up

Hey Cliffy, can you give me a front-on shot?? And what is your back-spacing?? Your stick out doesn't seem nearly that what other people with full-widths have had....

Why didn't you go 17's :D :D no grinding

Yeah, but John isn't spring over on full width axles!!! :p

As for the farmer's "tan"...well, it was the beginning of summer, so.......so fawk off!!! :flipoff2: :D Maybe I should start skiing topless so I'm ready when summer comes, not just my arms? :)

What the heck, here's one more from around the same time period, before I tried my full width stuff on.

P.S. This picture was taken about .02 seconds before I lost the bead on the front driver's side tire/wheel combo. Had to drive the rest of the way up the obstacle on my damn wheel cuz there was no way to change it where it was. :( That's why I use steel wheels though, hammers work great (ask Tom Mandera). :D

Here's one from a little while back, this was from my last outing in this scout. I accumulated so much body damage over the years when I tried to get it insured they wouldn't do it. I ended up cutting it up and keeping the hard parts.
