Been jones'n to do some wheel'n, and I had to pull the truck out to work on some other projects anyway....




Found out I need to completly rebuild my steering system, Box, pump, hoses.... I knew it had issues, but now I found them :D. PS fluid makes lots of smoke :D Going to port the box at the same time of course....




Most wheeling I've done in 3 months :(

Looks like fun!! I am ditching out of work early tomorrow so Dan and I can go play on some local stuff just to see how the truck preforms with the tranny upgrades. Nothing like driving for a day to compete with a totally untested truck. It's sad but we have done it before:D:D.

Just picked up some of those rocks... couple from my folks place, few that I had stashed at my old place and finnaly brought over. Was going to put them in a pile but they ended up spaced out, which makes it harder :D


I'll be getting more, nothing like haveing a place in your own yard for when you jones'n for some wheel'n. Course right about were the truck it right there will be the far corner of the shop thats in the works.. but there will still be a pile when I'm all done :evil grin:

I did a little thing on them when I did them, and have posted some over time here an on the BB as its come up. But if you still can't find it let me know and I'll probably post some of it again.

I've always thought it would be cool to wheel in my yard and when it breaks just leave it there for a future date. I can see it now, snap! Oh darn, guess I'll go inside and grab a beer and park my butt on the couch LOL

Jeeze, Rick, its nothing exciting .... yet. With no front locker I was able to find a line. With a front locker I probably could have picked any line I wanted. You probably wouldn't even notice it. Course I ain't stopping you from bringing your rig over :D:D


When its all done (couple years) it will probably only be about 30 feet long or so. But I want it to be almost all rock with some choise big ones in there... Unfortunatly the shop will eat into allot of were I'd "like" to put it.... but I'd rather have the shop :)

Hos, you ever get unstuck? I never knew a montero could get so stuck on such a little rock... My winch wasn't in good shape to start with, but it is totally fried now... I figured once Mark fired up the backhoe he would get you out of there in no time, and since I had to wake up in a couple hours, I headed on home.... <yawn>
