: 4 barrel intake for F-engine?

Hey!

Has anyone ever seen an Offenhauser 4-barrel intake for a LandCruiser F-engine? I have one with a Holley 4-barrel on it that I think is for a LandCruiser F-engine (it came with spare parts for my Cruiser).

It says "dual port" on it, and I wondered what that meant. On closer examination, it has split ports, meaning each intake runner is split in half. I think that the primaries feed one half of the port and then when the secondaries open up they feed the other half. This should boost low RPM torque???

Has anyone seen one of these before?

I'll get a pic posted later today.

Thanks!!!
Richard

the offy 4 barrel intake manifold is not that hard to find. In fact Clifford makes a reproduction of it curently. But you have to build a 2F pretty stout to really need a 4 barrel..

I thought the Offy Clifford sells now is a single plane type. THe dual ports are history. They do give better low end than the single plane and make power in a different rpm range. Just sold a new in the box one last fall. Requires carb, and they are just not gonna cut it for extreme wheeling.

Thanks for the info!

I'm selling all my TLC stuff, so I'd like to sell this too. Any idea how much should I ask for this manifold and the carb?
