So I was headed out Friday night and got out the driveway up the street and the truck ('97 Chevy 1500 4x4 350) starting bogging down. It died, I pulled over and immediately thought is was the fuel pump. When I tried to start it, it was like the whole truck was shaking. Kinda weird. Got it home and couldn't hear the pump kicking on when the truck was in the "on" position. Went to relieve the pressure on the fuel system and there wasn't any. So I got a tank with the pump and everything from the pick-n-pull yesterday out of a '92 Chevy. So I put the new pump and everything in my tank and it still won't start. No more bouncing when trying to start it. And there's pressure in the system so I know it's getting fuel. Electrical's fine. Any ideas?? I'm stumped and poor so I need to figure this out. Thanks

Does it have gas in it?:D Just kidding!
Did you check for spark. Pull out a plug and see if it is wet. If so you know your getting fuel, more than likely no spark action is occuring...:skull:

Quickest way to narrow it down to fuel or spark is to spray some starting fluid down the TB while someone tries to start it. If it runs on the starting fluid, you have a fuel problem. If it doesn't, you have no spark or it could have jumped time or something.
