Is it possible to cut the knuckles off of a Dana 44 or 60 and re-weld them onto a FJ40 front axle housing? I have access to 44 or 60 knuckles and shafts and I want to get rid of the Birfields. What would be involved in the conversion? Does anyone have a link that discusses this? Any help is appreciated.
