Help me decide for my YJ that wont see much if any rock crawling but will probably get the snot kicked out of it in the snow, mud and, ahem :flipoff2: assphalt :flipoff2: Also I'll be going SOA with 35's when the 33's wear out

Low pinion 9
Currie HP9
True Hi9
or Rockcrusher 60

for what you say you'll be doing with it just buid an 8.8, they're plenty strong for what you want to do.

As for 60s vs 9" axles, the 9" is over rated IMO and any upgrade of that kind of cost should be to a full floater with a matching front.

I agree 8.8 in the rear unless your are beefing up both axles

It doesn't seem to me like you need a HP diff for mud and snow, but if money is not object, hey, why not.

I voted for the Hi9, get it with a Detroit or ARB, 35 spline shafts, and full-floater, that would be :pimp:. However if money is a big factor it seems it would be more effective to spend the extra on good shafts, housing, locker, etc rather than on a HP diff.

Dana axles suck! I prefer single-piece housings! Currie is over-priced, so get the True! I ran a low pinion 9" on a YJ SPOA w/2" lift springs and rear driveshaft angle SUCKED!!!!
