50 oz flywheel is what you need...

What you should do is get an older and heaver fly wheel (70's to 80's) and it also has an 11" cluch instead of the 10". What you will need to do is find the stock size and weight and have a shop match balance it with the old one. What you can do is buy the 86 one and use it to balance the older one then return the new one and no extra money will be spent!

I have one off an 91 5.0 you can have for free...you pay the shipping! I used the heavier one off the stock bronco 302 and had it balanced as ROKCLRN was stating above. Good luck! <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
Where are you located? i would probably pay shipping for a free flywheel.
the engine i got was an automatic and i want to keep the t-18 in it.

You can also match balance your bronco flywheel to the donor vehicles flexplate.
I got a flywheel from an '86 f150 w/ 5.0 engine. Bolt on- it's got the correct 50 oz. imbalance and it uses the 11" clutch. If you've got the stock flywheel (28 oz. imbalance) take it to an automotive machine shop and get it rebalanced. Probably cheapest.
thanks for all the great ideas, i am jacked to get this project going and i only need a few more pieces to find. then its EFI for my rig.:p
