i'm looking at an 87 chevy 1/2 ton with a new 350, and auto tranny and it's 4wd. it runs great but the frame is broke from hauling big round hay bales. i want to pull the engine/tranny and maybe t-case to put them in an fj40. what tranny and transfercase does this truck have? thanks.

I have the perfect rig for you. It is a 1973 Chevy 3/4 ton with a 350/350/205 combo. I am told that it doesn’t even have 30,000 on the engine with all the standard goodies like a new edelbrock carb, edelbrock aluminum manifold, HEI, headers, ext. it also has a near new th350 with shift kit, ff14 bolt (chrome diff cover), d44 (polished aluminum diff cover), and a good set of 16.5x10 eagle 589's. The body is completely rusted and primer black but it sure has a stoute drive train. He is asking 2000 but will go way down, show up with 1200 cash and he would probably tack it. The truck is located in the bay area ca. if interested email me at acbroh@atbi.com
