Making some changes in my suspension this winter...
I will be going to an OME 2 1/2" lift...
Here is my question... For guys that have wheeled this lift do you recommend using the OME shackles (which are about 1/2" over stock length) or do you recommend going to a longer shackle.... I was considering somthing in a 1 1/2" over stock length..

Will be using this lift with 33x9.50 BFG MT or 34x9.50 Swamper TSL...

Thanks for the help, but I ran these searches prior to the post...
Sure theres alot of Post out there about shackles, Shackle angles, SOA and shackles, and pumpkin correction shims, However Not one post Answered the Specific question of shackle lengths with the Old man emu springs that i asked.....

I posted this question because I am currently havening issues with my shackles getting hung up on some lovely New England Granite... with my current rancho 2 1/2" lift... I would love to go to the smaller OME shackles however I not sure if its worth sacrificing the 1" of height difference....

This is why I was specifically looking for people running and wheeling this lift to get their opinion...

YOu will be happy with the shackles tha come with the OME kit. I think they are 1" over stock which will give you .5" of lift.

With those and the 2.5" lift you will have all the clearance you need to run the "tall skinnies" and keep from draging your stuff all over New England.

Simple choice, don't over think it.
