We are trying to sell a 1987 F-350 crew cab. The truck has a 1990 7.3 liter diesel motor and transmission in it. We were told upon purchase that the new motor had right over 50,000 miles and the tranny was rebuilt about 5,000 miles prior to the sale. We have put about 5,000 miles on it ourselves. It has a new tank selector valve, which is a common problem in these trucks. The transmission slips, but we believe it to be because of cracked lines, which create a loss of vacuum. It is still easily driveable. The interior is in pretty nice condition. It is a Texas truck, and we had it shipped up in the fall. We have not driven it at all in the winter so there is absolutely no salt or sand under it. The underside is very clean for the trucks age. The body is near mint, with a few dings and a small dent in the front drivers door. The motor runs very strong. It has an 8 foot bed. This is four wheel drive with the Dana 60 front end.
