Into a '98TJ, 4.0L, currently AX-15. There is an input to the PCM, that is if it's in park, neutral, or in gear. It's used (according to the FSM), to raise the engine idle a little when in gear. Anyone done this transplant, and I assume didn't hook that input up, as you'ld have to get a new computer, have any problems with the engine stalling, when in gear and stopped, at a light, stop sign, etc.

Thanks,
Fred

we thru one in a '98 that was a manual and just plain forgot to hook it up:rasta: It idles a bit low, we figured it was just the auto way...pushed the hand throttle up a click and forgot about it. It's still not hooked up and its been over a year. This is a trail Jeep, but it does see the street getting from camp ground to trail head and the owner has no conplaints. He's over here at my house at least 3 times a week to tinker with his and my junk, so if it bothered him we would of fixed it by now.
