I've got, (at least I think I have), a rear main seal leak. Are there any ways to fix this easily? without pulling everything apart? It is on a 76 2f FJ55, thanks

If you KNOW it is a rear main leak...
It is very easy to fix AFTER you drop the tranny/t-case and remove the clutch and flywheel :flipoff2:

$5 seal and a couple of hours of labor if you are good.

Easy is checking to make sure that your oil pan bolts are tight (2-3 ft-lbs). Changing the rear main seal involves dropping the tranny and removing the flywheel. It could also be the freeze plug on the cam shaft gallery leaking like mine is in the photo. Notice the oil dripping down the right side? When your main seal leaks, it usually slings oil off the flywheel radially and gets all over in the bellhousing. You have to remove the bellhousing to get at it. Right now it isn't a problem fixing it as I have it apart to do the sm420 swap.
