Airpup26 03-16-2005, 08:27 PM Looking to pick up an FJ-40. The guy is asking 600 bucks. It is a 1965 FJ-40 rolling chassie. Body is perfect but dissasembled. No rust on the frame. Is has dana 50 or 55 axles ( which would go in place of rockwells or 60's.) I dont think it has a motor but that is not a problem. Are the frames boxed on these things? IT is actually a 65 chasies and a 68 body. I would be cutting the frame right after the doors and tubing the rest. I am going to call the guy tomorrow and see what happens. Im just wondering if there are any specific thing that I need to watch out for?
