1982 toy pickup, stdcab. 4x4.

Bought a few years ago and moved on to an 85 project.
Engine needs rebuild/replacement and currently is unbolted from trans(5spd) and the head is off due to blown HG. Trans worked when driven back, but unknown condition.
Both axles are in good condition, front was taken off and sanded and the stock steering removed for hysteer, since, stock steering is back on, but not streetable. The bed was sold, and the rear frame was sanded and primed; however, will include the bed from my 85 which is green and in good condition.

has a 3" lift of unknown make, front springs, rear blocks w/ 33 ATs on 15x10 rims

Cab is in good shape, maybe a spot or two of rust, nothing bigger than a dime. Cab was stripped inside. Will include doors, hood, and bench seat. Frame is straight.

so hysteer is not included? is the t-case, trans, driveshafts, axles, etc all hooked up? Will the 85 bed bolt up? shoot me a pm with some more info. It's a good drive but not all that far.

The hysteer is not included with the truck. The truck has been sitting, but the tires are still holding air just fine. The axles are bolted up, as is the rear drive shaft. The front dl is not, but comes with the truck. The engine is not bolted to the trans, but the trans, tcase and everything are bolted in stock location. Other than that, it is as stated in the original post. As for the bed fitting, I am not positive but at with some work, moving a mount or two.. it should be fine. This also goes for the bumpers too. I can test fit them for you and let you know later this week. I will be back in Columbia/Camden on tuesday, let me know if your interested.

from the way its going im pretty sure this truck will be mine i will let you know by the end of the night or tommorrow sometime. i need to know what gearing it has, what engine it has, t-case, transmission. i just need a little info on the truck. well more that wat you have included. but i think it will be mine, if it is then i can pick it up the weekend of may 21-22 that weekend. just let me know.

There are some more details if my memory serve me correctly on the 1982 Toyota pickup:

Trans is a L52 (as mentioned is a five speed)
the T-Case: stock 2.28 gears... TOP(better than forward shift if you go dual cases) shift 21 spindle (21 is weaker than 23 spindle, depends how harcore you go, much easier to find)
The front axle is 55.5" wide, and the rear I think is 55"s wide, both have 4.11 gears in the diff.

otherwise, as stated above, it has a 22 R that is not running and needs a rebuild. It ran (i drove it to the current location, about 5 miles, and then a few more on the property and the trans shifted good) before I pulled the head and I began the project. This is more a less a decent start on a project and with an engine and some time could be a running project. It also includes new head bolts (about an $80 value from Toyota.)

EDIT: The carb that is included with the engine is a new carb and has very low miles.

i have some interest, i dont have anyway to tow it though, do you happen to have a way to move it? i did notice its on a farm, got to move those tractors somehow...

Theres a possibility that I could do that, but as of right now would prefer not to. As for the tractors, good eye, however we're lucky, theres a repair shop down the road from us, so if we cant fix it they generally come to us. I may have access to a camera now so pictures maybe available tomorrow.
