I was grinding the perches off my d44 axle tube for a SOA conversion and got a little carried away. Did I grind too far into the tube? And if so, what is the best remedy to fix this? I was thinking just lay some bead in the channel ans grind it smooth, or should I plate it?
What do you think?

damn man, you did get a lil carried away......just fill it in with a weld bead and grind it flush.

yep, put a bead in there and grind it....but don't get so carried away this time :D

Preheat it a little...will make the welding cleaner and minimize the chances of warping something.
