Hey - how come there is no mention of the Stock Class????

I'm getting bored of the same old coverage and same old people every event - how about something new for once!

We need a satellite internet equipped vehicle at every event feeding us pics and current happenings every few seconds. Or a live video feed would be nice.

Some thing like THIS (http://www.raysat.us/Products/speedray.asp). Just think, we could have a Pirate internet TV Channel.

You all missed out on one hell of a course. This thing was way tough without the mud. Sunday was an all out throttle fest-spotter drag. Congratulations to all, I had a great time with you all. We followed BZ and let me say that he is in it to win it. Great job Bruce and George!!!!!! It was a well earned victory.

Got to go, work today, back to Moab very soon!

Nice job Cody. Looks like all that time in stock mod paid off in the move up.... Thats two events in top 5. Not bad.
Looks like Rich in his "It never rains on Calrocs" quote does not apply to WEROCK.

It was muddy on Sunday and cold. Tough courses and a challenging event. My hats off to everyone that stuck around Sunday. It crossed our minds to leave early. We should have ditched the buggies and competed with the tow rigs + trailers in the mud. Lets just say that course #11 was geting from the pits to the road.

Fun event!

Sorry Hal - the only reason we did better was because of some super special tweaking on the Liberty Buggy to make it perform better...

BTW, it was the only super modified out there with leaf springs right???

For those who are as dissapointed as I am with the Rock-On crew Lance hired to cover the Moab event, 'hilltj' has posted a small alblum of pics of Sunday's soggy action. HERE (http://www.rockymountainextreme.com/showthread.php?t=19693) on the Rocky Mountain Extreme BBS.
... just for a little fix until Rock-On gets a move-on ...

EDIT: I was just informed that the Rock-On crew was providing the Moab coverage free of charge! And so, not wanting to look a gift horse in the mouth, I'd like to retract my comment of thier coverage. Thanks, Rock-On for stepping up to the plate! That said, I do hope ya'll find the time to post the rest of your pics as promised.
I also hope Lance can find a sponsor for reporting the remaining W.E.ROCK events because, as all can tell, there are more than just a few on this board who get pretty cranky without thier event coverage fixes. :p

Are you going to come to the Farmington Pro-Rock meet on May Day Kathy?
I'm going to try like hell to make it to that W.E.ROCK event out your way at Pomona later this summer.
If you'll look at the first day of Moab score totals you'll see that our team was keeping up with the leaders very well! Unfortunately I had to withdraw from Sunday's wrap up and go home, being no where near recovered from the bout of phenomia I caught under near identical cold and wet conditions in Globe ... and not anxious for a return confinment in the hospital. :(

We were disappointed as well, but we couldn't find the parts we needed in town. The next day we also found the torque converter bolts had ripped out as well, and there was no way to fix that. We would have been around Sunday to heckle you on your judging :D :grinpimp: :D , but with that weather, there was no way were are going to stay. So we loaded the "fat ass" Scout on the trailer and went home. Good meeting you and see you next time!!! :flipoff2: :grinpimp:

This event, for some reason, did not get the "normal" coverage we've come to appreciate, then throw in the "Rodney Dangerfield" aspect and....

Congrats anyway on the 3rd place finish!

Here's a couple of pics I just recieved ... taken by friends of Cal Simmons, who volunteered off an appeal from this BBS to spot for me in Moab. He usually spots for the M.O.R.E. team in the UROC series and did a great job for me.
Thanks again Cal!

It was great to meet and compete with you, Bill! Good Job!
Had I not been 'under the weather' Sunday I'd given you a good run for that trophy. :p
Glad to see more Mod-Stocks enter the field ... especially with most of the 'old hands' like the Sissons, Becca, Cody, and Jeff moving up in class.
Hope you can make it over to Farmington for Pro-Rocks next month.

Jaffer,

Sorry, I can't go to Farmington - Ed got a new job at the city and can't take any time off right now until he passes his 6 month probation. I guess I will celebrate May Day in Anaheim, wishin' I was there and hoping the Rock On crew finds the Stock Class to take pictures of! Your rig looks great - Mine is going to be a totally different color for the next event - no more black & yellow!

Or just a refurb. and you're building up the new equipment.

I have been at lots of events that were covered in the magazines and TV shows but never got even one pic, even though I finished in the top 3 of the competition.

I kept wondering why none of the photographers were taking pics of my rig, then it dawned on me, maybe it was the dark green and black paint, they could not see me  . Camouflaged by all the trees and greenery is not the way to get your pic taken.

I don't thing anyone could miss me now. :grinpimp:

What's up?

It's just the old one with a new dye job and a face lift (translation - paint job and spring over) - the new one is going to be a Bobbed TJ Scrambler with no scratches or dents that I will be able to drive on the street and during family recreational trips - It's going to be a bling bling show rig.

But, I will still have the Rock Cat Jeep to beat the hell out of!
