Finnally got all the parts together for my Scout 44 tierod.

Tubing is 1.5" OD .25" wall DOM - shouldn't bend that. Used weld in 3/4" bungs from www.colemanracing.com and ES150 rod ends for the tierod and one end of the draglink. The other end of the draglink uses an es258 which is 3/4" with the small jeep taper.

New 1.5" .25 wall tierods:

Don't forget the jam nuts. The cheapest place for the TRE's seems to be www.stockcarproducts.com.

Those stock car guys have all the best stuff;)

Nice. I used 1.25" solid Stressproof (1144) for mine. Very stout but heavy. :)
