Has anyone put tj coils on a xj? I'v got some 4.5" RE tj coils and was wondering how they would preform on a xj. I'm looking to find out if the spring rate is different and if so how will that apply to the application. Any other info would be appreciated.

There was a discussion regarding this on NAXJA several months back. I believe that the concensus was that it actually netted less lift. As in, a stock coil dropped the XJ by about .25 inches or so. The ZJ coils are what you want. Slightly higher spring rate (175 psi?) and give an added inch or so over the ZJ lift. So the 4.5" ZJ coils give about 5.5" - 6"
its all about the leaf spring front conversion:D
