So our club attended the Mud Mania Festival last weekend. The event had been planned for about 6 months and everyone was excited to go. We arrive and first thing we have problems with the people working the gate. And we were like oh well we are here to have a good time so we didn't let it bother us. Well as the weekend progressed things worsenned. The security was soliciting women and harrassing everyone, the park owners tried to take half the profit of all the t-shirts and club memberships we sold, and nothing happened at it's scheduled time. We are good friends with the guys who sponsered the event and they did a very good job getting everything together for us. But once the event started the park owners took over everything and would not allow us to run our events as planned. Many people were over charged and refunds were not rewarded and after the mud bog was held Saturday night they tried to shut the park down on us and make us leave. We even had events planned for Sunday. Anyways come to find out the park was on the verge of bankruptcy and they got their money and ran with it. They definately don't appreciate our sport so please do not visit this park until it changes hands.
