I've been looking all over for those...even talked to a couple shops about makin' some. But know one seemed to have the Taps for the funky thread pitch, so they would have cost almost as much as me buying both left and right hand taps.

I'm gonna order mine today!

Pretty affodable if you only need to do one set of tierod/draglink, but if you and some freinds went in on a set of taps I think you would be ahead the cash. That being said I will probably use these because they look like a real time saver!

I've never used the 7/8" thread ones but I use 3/4" all the time with 1.5/.250 tubing and 1.75/.375 tubing, they're awesome.

I use these all the time along with the 7/8's kind on 4 link set up on drag cars/trucks. They make a good set of trail fix steering using DOM. Gor for it...........:D  :p

$12 a piece - does that come with gold plating?

I used these ones for my new 1.5" DOM, .25 wall tierods. Cheaper than anywhere else I found - about $4 each

I dont see any 7/8 18 LH and RH there dude. Which is what you'd need for GM rod ends

Not necesarrily. I mean you could just use two RH-ers and adjust Toe-in the hard way

Good thing I don't have 7/8" rod ends then ;) I'd have to check, but I'm pretty sure I found some 7/8 somewhere as well. Spidertrax sells them, but only in RH thread

check this tap price out, is this the proper tap?

I paid about 3 times this for my RH 7/8 18 tap, a buddy showed me this place.

They have the regular for dirt cheap but I didnt see a left hand thread :( oh well you should only have to set the toe once! can't beat $19 for the tap!

I am using the 1-18 BIG Chevy rod ends. Ya'll are talking about 7/8-18 as if they were big, but I measured mine and they are 1". Anyway, I got a RH tap and that's it. It's an off-road rig, so if my alignment isn't perfect it won't matter. I don't mind saving the money and doing things the hard way.

Yo patoooooooooooey

whats the part number or stock aplication of such a rod end?

I ask because ive never heard of such.

I think that ther is a 1 inch right hand rod end
but not a 1 inch left left hand threaded end
at least not that you can buy at the local
parts store.

Ps I bought a left hand tap cost about 30$

the benefit of useing the tap is you can
use a drag link from a one ton truck
which will be dom tubeing

this will be stronger than useing the
1 inch inside diameter whith regular tubeing.
and welded ends.

This doesn't work that well for accurate adjustment of the toe in, since you can only adjust it by one full turn at a time. Moving it 1/18 of an inch can move the toe in a lot depending on the length of hte arms. You might get lucky though.
