my buddy bought a 87 k5 blazer(solid front axle?) yesterday and called my to see if i could find some info for him.i never owned or for that matter been around a full size blazer so any help would be apprieated.(had a yj,now a toyota) how much can u lift one of these trucks with out screwing with drive shafts and steering? ei shackle lift....lift blocks. this is not going to be a extreme 4x4,he just wants it alittle higher to throw some 32's on it and play in the mud.dont want a body lift.like i said i could use some help,if ya got nothing good to say,say it to ya self, i dont want to hear it lol :flipoff2:

this question is prolly better posted in the newbie forum, but... If he wants to put 32"s on it, just get a 2.5inch lift... You could put a 4 inch on as well, And your drive shafts will prolly be alright....

You don't need no stinkin lift to fit 32's or 33's. There might be some fender tagging with the 33's, and there might not. If he feels froggy, step up to 35's.

yea, 32s are not much bigger than stock, if thats all hes runnin, then why waste the time liftin it?

I had 33s on mine an it was stock no rubbing or anything..... man up throw 40s under it

c mon guys my buddy is runnin 38s with 4 inches of lift, little trimmin little rubbin but if its for mud like he said it doesnt matter.

i have a 6in. lift and running 35s and my drive shaft is fine
