I have a nissan 3.3 deisel ( out of an ih pickup) that i am going to put into a 1969 nissan patrol, but i think the tranny that i got is a two wheel drive tranny. what i need to know is if the output shaft can be removed fairly eassily and a 4x4 shaft installed to make it fit up to a transfercase. Any help would be much appreciated. thanks hillbilly

More likely outta a Terra than a pickup.

either go find a scout in the junkyard with a T19, and take the adapter on the rear along with the transfer case, or just take the whole transmission/tcase combo
