I am putting a dana 44 from a 79 bronco under my XJ. Does anybody have any ideas on would work for the coil spring mounts.I have a dana 30 that I could chop of the mounts and weld them on the D44, but I figured I would ask around for other ideas.
You could order the RE bracket kit. i'd call DC's 4wd. Or its not that hard to build a set of coil buckets, especially if you have the 30 to look at

Good luck cuttin them off the 30 with out screwin them up to bad. Easier to make new ones, you could beef them up while your at it.

use the ones that mount on the radius arms of the 44. thats what i did. pm me if you want some pix
Just cut the D30 mounts off. Don't bother cutting off the radiused side of the mount, just cut the top off and wled new sides on.
I just used .120" for the sides and .188" for a front plate...
