close to where i live there is a U-Pull it yard that has two amazingly unmolested 4x4 travelalls, a `69 1100 and `64 1500. the 69 has a 345, 3 on the tree and the 64 has a 6 cyl, 3spd and 6 lug hubs. the 69 looks like it was somebodies beater, it was cool. anyway, i was wondering if the axles under the 69 were full width d44's and also if the axles under the `64 would be worth getting.

No, the front axles would be closed knuckle and drum. Parts my also be an issue. Look for ~73 and up for the swap.

i would buy both of them if i could, the 64 is sweet as hell. the yard i am talking about is harry's u-pull it, the supposed largest u-pull it in the country, and they are real :rainbow: about selling whole vehicles out of the yard in one piece.

wouldnt that 1300 have a d70 front ?? would be a badass fullwidth, but no rims available(only splits), and supposedly the shafts ina 70 closed knuckle are weaker than a d60. but then again, some 1300's had 6.17 gears, which would make them def worthwhile, If they were anywhere near me i'd throw em under the 1200!!!

it has a full floater in the rear too which i thought was cool, but if i can't use em or easily sell them for a good amount of cash i ain't gonna bother yankin em
