I am buying a '78 FS 2 door Cherokee with a 360, TH400(correct?), and Quadratrack. My question is this:what is the width of the damn fron 44? I am looking to put this in my Scrambler on a YJ frame. Thanks in advance for the responses.

Measure from the center of the tire that will give you a rough estimate. But I thing it is around 60 or 62" if it has flares then it is a C Chief and will be 64" WT.

if the 4rth and 5th digits in the VIN are "16", its 62 inches wide, good for a CJ

if those numbers are "17" its 65+ inches wide
