Friend of mine that was competing said that was about a foot of snow on the ground and it was a flop fest. Don't know much other than that.

Just got back from the event. It was kick ass.

Lots of throttle, lots of flops, and lots of great driving. It snowed about 6" last night, so it was like wheeling back east. There was mud on every rock. Definately a great event.

Awsome Event!! There was 8" of snow on the ground in the morning, by noon the courses were streams. Other than the curse of Mud It was a blast. 10 times more exciting than UROC. Faster pace, more action much more fun to participate in. I rode shotgun with Mike Palmer :flipoff2: I've got even more respect for his driving skill than before. We screamed through the first obsticle in 1:43 and nerfed some guy that was parked in the exit gate , We rolled on the second course which put us out, but we still flew through the third course blasting up two sections that were giving a lot of people trouble all day without so much as a studder, Awsome driving!
If UROC doesn't pick up the pace this is going to overtake them quick, I've never seen fans so excited so consistantly and I've never been so excited myself. The combination of speed, constant action and technical navigation is far more exciting.
Good event!can't wait for the next one

Why can't rock racing just be rock racing without hating rock crawling? Do roller bladers hate roller skaters? Do snowboarders hate skiers? Do street bikes hate mountain bikes? Ah, to hell with it, it sounds like a fun event with more mud than we had the second day at WEROC.

I was planning on attending, but after our mud/snow run friday night we decided to sleep in. I definitely agree that RockRacing is gonna be the way to go for the man made stadium style events, but I'm not convinced that its good for our sport out in nature. When I think of rock racing I think of full throttle high horsepower thrashing through obstacles breaking stuff. Definitely cool, and definitely gets the crowd going, especially if there is a beer stand nearby. But if this is being done outside of a stadium it just looks like a bunch of rednecks thrashing their rigs and the land. I know BFE is private land, and Jeremy can let us do this kinda stuff and thats awesome, I just wonder what kinda message its gonna send out in the future.
