Looks like a thumbnail picture to me.

Yea, I think that something made of aluminum is a good guess.

Well it looks like it's got a hole in one end for a silly bushing. It's arc'd to clear something, like a differnetial. It could be a track bar, but it's kinda short for that. It could be some kinda thing for a JD2, those sure are popular now. I know, it's what you club snakes with in the desert when you're wearing your way kewl dirt biker garb!

I give up.

one side of a control arm for a desert truck. The to eyes on top are for shock mounts.

lower control arm for some sort of monster truck.

looks like it could be a swing arm for a centered coilover... sort of like on quads... seems short if that is what it is.... lower control arm of some sort.... my 2 guesses

Is that some kind of prerunner truck? Looks short and really bindy err something like that for a rockcrawler.

Titanium:question: It's too silvery for steel, more like a high nickel stainless in color but it would be too heavy.....so I say titanium :D

Yikes:eek::eek: Those look way short for control arms, even for a desert runner.

I hope this are stricly for suspension dampening. With that short of a raduis on trailing arms it would make for a rough ride.:usa:

: Yeah it looks like it's just a suspension dampening arm which is cool

Purple looks like the lower control arm, red looks like the upper

No, it's not Titanium, it's steel, it is shiny because they are clean and scotchbrited, they are made of .062" 4130 sheet and weigh about 10 lbs apiece, they are not totally done yet they still need to be heat treated. The picture looks kinda funny because it is at full droop.

Wow, looks spiffy. Do you plan to keep it that shiny, or show us some action shots where it's covered in dirt? :D

Nice work...What is the link that connects it to the axle made from ? ...it looks kinda small... must be made out of unobtainium or something

I'm tryin to figure this thing out. Is it bent so you can use a longer shock?? From the one little pick that seems to be the only advantage over having it straight.

The link is just made of 1" x .188 wall DOM, it is just a tension/compression member, and it so short buckling is not a problem. I had to make is small for clearance during articulation, but it's strength is more that adequate.

It is bent to get the upper shock mounts lower, it will have a CJ body and the shocks will be below the top of the tub.

Cool...from the pic. it looked like a 3/8" rod, and I figured it was temporary or something...
