: How fast will a 84 honda 200 get me?

I had a Honda Trail110, maybe an '84. With the correct gearing, it would hit 60mph, but just barily.

I dont know if its an xr, the tank is metal. The guy is gonna sel it to me for $400and give me 2 new tires. It runs good and starts first kick but the turn signals are missing.

That won't be too comfortable at highway speeds. You would be much happier with something around 400-650 cc.

i can't remember for sure but i seem to recall that there is a minimum cc that your bike must be to be ridden on the highway. and that is 250cc or bigger.

i doubt you will get caught. just thought i'd let you know.

i'm sure it will go 50 mph but the comfort level, as mentioned before, would leave something to be desired. plus i believe it would be better to be capable of higher speeds so that you can power away from froot loop drivers.

175cc is the min for california to ride on the freeway

should go 50mph no problem, I've got a 200X 3 wheeler that will got 55mph on GPS and I believe its the same engine.
