Does anybody know of anyone making a twin shifter for the model 20..Kinda like the model 300 ??

Make them. It wouldn't be hard.

If you do this to *I assume* a jeep dana 20
The only thing you are going to gain is a 2wd low. You will not be able to shift the back into neutral and the front into high or low.

*I may be backwards*
I think the inside knob controls high, neutral, and low. The outside knob controls 2wd and 4wd

Now a Scout 300 is a different story. It has the same bolt pattern as a jeep dana 20

The D20 can indeed be twin sticked to the same capabilities that a D300 can... there just aren't any bolt-on kits that I'm aware of. About two months ago I rebuilt my D20 (on a '76 CJ5) to take advantage of twin sticks, using the instructions in the link I've included below. Give it a look-see.

Really, this is easier than a spring over. The only hard part is getting the interlock pin out of the shift rail area. After that its a simple fab job. I just cut that piece of tube coming out of the t-case and welded a plate to the end and then made some tabs for my fulcrum point. Then just figure out how high you want your sticks and what leverage ratio you want. I wound up using some of the old linkage parts with some small rod ends for the linkage. Turned out pretty slick. Still needs a boot though.
As for benefits; Raises the shifters to a point I can actually reach them. Much more leverage=easier to shift than that old POS on my floor. As for front 2wd, I have no idea. I've heard you can't get it, but I just got my project driving and haven't tried yet.
Hope that helps,

Kevo

Look into using the stock twin-stick shifters from a Dana 18. The only hard part is making the slot in the shift rails (I think you can swap in the 18s rails). My Dana 20 was built for me, so I may be off on the specifics but it has the Dana 18 shifters and works like a champ. Also remove the interlock pin and you can get FWD Hi/Lo, 4WD Hi/Lo, RWD Hi/Lo (and also the less desirable front Hi rear Lo & vice versa).

I do not know if you are still looking for a twin stick for your dana 20 if you are. I have a kit for sell that will bolt right onto your dana 20 as long as it is a jeep dana 20.
All you have to do is take out your interlock pill

And if you check the For Sale board, you'll see someone selling a few of them.

I'd ask the guys on the IH board to know for sure. I know my neighbors 68 had one.
