I'm replacing the clutch on my truck and need to know if this dual friction clutch can be put on my '86 pickup with a 2.3L. In the applications page of the summit site ( it is part no. CTF-DF512626) it lists the same year 2.3L trooper as an applitcation. To my knowledge the trooper and pickup are almot exactly the same (except for body).

Does anybody know if i can use this clutch in my truck, i cant afford both the two-three week wait and the $208 if it wont.

If this wont work are their any other stronger-than-stock clutches out there that will fit or any other possible solutions. Any help would be appreciated.

What are you trying to get out of one of these clutches? Is your 2.3 too poweful for the stock clutch or are you just trying to go for a different clutch feel?
