OK, search is not working so...
What's the best brand axle shafts for the front dana 44 for a 74 EB?? I have just bought CTM u-joints and need full circle clip axles. I plan on running 37" tires.
TIA

I really like my Warn's. Broke my first ujoint last summer after 3 years of use of warn axles. The ears on the axles were fine. Replaced the joint, and I was good to go.

You won't be disapointed with Warns or Superiors, just like any other 44

Hell, the Yukon 4340 shafts are damn cheap. $299 a full set. I know they aren't Superiors(nothing else compares and I run Warns), but considering you could get almost three sets of the Yukon shafts for one set of Superiors is unreal.

This is for scout D44, but I always see this guys auctions or EB axles too.
Can't beat it for $375.
When I have the cash I am planning on buying his set of D60 axles.

One word.. Becareful on what you read.
I have talked to different suppliers and they say different things. I do know that the superiors are the best in the market with warn close behind. Mosers are also good, but I have heard bad things about yukon and other wanna-bes. They say they are crommolly but they are a different grade.
I am runnning warns because I was able to get a hella of a deal on them. I am also running CTMs, I really didn't care honing the axles to get the CTMs in but I haven't had a problem yet, knock on wood. I am also running 37s. Some close and smart friends suggested superiors where the best on the market and I would have went with them if I could afforded them

Huh, don't Scout's use a 27 spline outer? I know my 78' axles in my old CJ7 had 27 spline axles.
