From what I could gather from reading the AA catalog, it looks like an 85 to 91 NP205 is the best choice to mate with an early GM ('92) NV4500. It says they came behind SM465s and TH400s and that I can use the stock 85-91 adapter with some minor mods to connect the two...
However, it also says that there were two possible input gears on these NP205s. One was deep and one shallow. It says I need the shallow one, but It doesn't say which tranny application (SM465 vs TH400) had which T-case input gear, or whether this variation was independent of transmission selection.
Anyone out there have a clue?
Thanks,
Jake
