Not sure what happened the first time I posted this...
I just pulled my carbed 460 out to replace it with a 89 EFI 460 (got the whole truck)
I have a good 75 460 short block and a complete 89 EFI 460 that needs a rebuild. I know that the heads changed around 87 but here is my question. Can I use the 70's short block and add the top end from the 89 EFI motor? Not sure if the blocks are different or not. Thanks for the info...
