No, I'm not talking about your :rainbow: buddy. I'm talking about a place near Moab, Utah.

At any rate, I'm going back to Moab around the 13th of April for a week o' wheelin. Was considering a run through Beef Basin area that takes me through Bobby's Hole and on into Needles District of Canyonlands.

Maps say "May be unpassable for 4x4's during inclement weather". Since this trips a little earlier this year, I was wondering if anyone has been through the famous hole at this time of year? what's the issue? Nothing I've been able to find tells me wheter the canyon fills up with 10' of water or what.

Don't wanna wheel for 30 miles, just to turn around.

Guess you boys have never been to Moab.

It's at the border of Canyonlands (Needles District) and Canyon Rims state park.

Way cool area with Elephant Hill in the area, lots of Arches, Petroglyphs, etc.

Ya'll need to stop drivin' that rig to the mall and get out whellin' sometime :flipoff2:

Just cause it has a :rainbow: name, don't mean its easy.

So since you've been there, what makes it impassable in bad weather? Mud or flash flood water levels or snow?

they prolly got the info from one of the parks maps

they always say that becuase, well,, it is out in the dessert and well if it rains hard it could get ugly

but ugly for a stock suburban and a wheeler is different
it whould be fine even with snow

just be ready for high ground in a flashflodd - anywhere down here not just that trail..

every sat - and sunday morning we gather at City Market if you wanna go do some trails
