so I'm to the part where i think of how I'm going to run the motor I've built. chevy 355. already have the edelbrock manifold, so I'd rather not get into multiport/tuned port systems.

What I want to know is, if I were to go injection, what is the best kit I can put on this motor (must be at least 600 cfm) that is a tbi kit.... ex. howell, holley, etc.

any suggestions, comments or opinions? I'd really appreciate the advice.

Howell. Bolt on, standard GM parts, available anywhere. Bulletproof. Once you get the chip for your custom application, the ECM learns your engine and automatically adjusts the map from your baseline. Knowledgeable staff. Good Tech support.

Holley: Bolt on, mostly standard parts, Custom computer. Standard fuel maps for most engines. Laptop (Di) or Analog (D) control. Infinately tuneable, but that seems to be the problem, you have to screw around with it to get it to work - a lot. Tech Support: Poor (my experience).

I just junked my Holley computer and harness in favour of a Howell ECM (GM) and custom chip and harness. With the Howell, you get an ALDL OBDI connector and can use standard GM scanner tools to diagnose problems.
