What Should I Do????
I have a 1975 Fj40 and an automatic transmission in it. The tranny uses a 203 style T-case. What should I use as a T-case??? I cant just use a 203 because it is full time 4wd and it is center output to the rear. I know there are adapters to use the toyota t-case but....but they are way to expensive. What would be the cheapest option??? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Put a toyota truck rear axle in. Thats the cheepest in my experence. You can probly find someone to give you one of those or buy one super cheep. Pre 86 is a bit narrower.

I am really impressed with the centered rear end Jeremiah Profitt is making, using the LC center and the mini outers. Keeps it all Toyota, with a reasonably strong 3rd member and matched six lug axles. Just another thought.
