So far I have only been a spectator at NWRCA events with my kids. But they still talk about it, ask me when I am going to finish the Jeep ('47 Willys for those that care) and want to know when the next one is. In order to get me to compete it would have to do something for me other than give me the opportunity to break stuff, I can do that without leaving the driveway! Such as a little class from someone with a helluva lot of experience giving pointers on getting everything out of my rig, whatever it may be. Something that I can take home with me other than a dirty broken rig. I think it would help encourage a newbee to continue coming back and spending his time and money.
