I don't know if seeing Whitey's truck provides inspiration to get my twins finished or just frustration that it is taking so long:( BIG 45s are definitely cool:D

Too sweet. I can imagine my Wagon body on top of that frame. So much for the rear overhang problem. That is the way to do it right for rocks, anyway.

By the looks of it Peter, they have been cut down to almost stock Cruiser width. Personally, I would have liked them a bit wider for such a lifted rig, but there again that is the owners choice.

ok so here are a couple of answers to some questions:
yes, you'd probably have to kill whitey to get this rig cause he just spent 6 years off and on building it from the bare frame and body we got originally.
the body is all stock except for the bed. it's actually a steel flatbed fabed to the stock size and the bedsides and tail-gate come off almost like a quick connect setup.
the 454 stays cool pretty well, at least so far. got about 300 miles or so on it now . the motor is relatively stock and it's got a nice rad in front of it.
the axles are narrowed down to stock width. not my choice either but he wanted to retain a fairly stock apperance; that might sound ridiculous but it's all estetics.
andy, let me know when the next BBQ is happening and i'm sure i can convince whitey to show up.
