That is correct. One for the supply, one for return, and one on the vent.

Oh man that's a little excessive

I personally feel that it's unnecessary to have shutoffs on everything, but considering that it's a difference of about $20 on a build to add two more valves, I don't see it as that big a deal. Mine are actually on rigid elbow fittings directly on the fuel cell, right in the same area, protected by the cage, easy to get to, etc. It's a really easy rule to comply with, and having recently seen a rollover that tore off a fuel pressure line in the process, probably not a bad idea.

Actually, I think the valves are very important, and every fuel/over flow tank needs them. This is very important for both safety, as well as limiting spills during roll overs.

Rob, they are $3.47/valve at:

Thanks for the link Brian. I guess I scoffed so quickly because never in any of my rolls(yes there have been many) has anybody jumped to shut my vent valve(although it wasn't pouring fuel)

 Quit whining about the rules and take care of your shit, noone wants to have to deal with a forest fire because of your carelessness and scofflaw attitude. It's like $10 and 5 minutes of your time.

Hey listen here Bdog. If I could get some real help around here that doesn't bail out at 3:30 AM I could get a lot more shit done and accomplished and wouldn't have to worry so much about the little stuff. Plus, I can't afford them after giving you money to help me out. Shit! You ought to be paying me for the privilege! I'll get them, but it's just another thing to add to your list. They ought to be here sometime early next week. You can come down to the shop while I'm on my honeymoon and get that shit taken care of.
