: Piggy Radiator!

A cheaper alternative to replacing the pig radiator??? Ha- I found a Chrysler radiator that fits in a FJ 55- the holes line up perfectly and the size is right, a minor problem is that the holes have to be reamed out just a little bit for the larger toyota radiator bolts (took me all of 30 seconds...)

The only thing is, the particular radiator I found is a two row, and I could really use the cooling capacity of a four row. Anyone know where I could take my part numbers and find out what model of vehicle the radiator is intended for?

Anyways- I'll keep you posted on what I find out. :fj:

Try a good radiator shop. If you wish they can re-core the radiator. They will measure the old core, cross reference, get a four core, and blamo, braze in the new. Can be costly, normally around $300-$400 for a recore, but it all depends on the size.....If you remember what vehicle you got the radiator out of, normally a radiator warehouse can hook you up with a heavy duty rad.....:skull:
