hey im turning my ac into an air compresser this week and wile looking at fittings i came acrossed a "self oiler" for a handheld air tool

this has me thinking would this be the ticket for oiling my pump? its 13 bucks and a pain in the ass if it blows the pump up due to not enough oil

im worried about running the pump off the valve cover.

whats the best setup for an ac pump oiler?

maybe drill the fill cap and put a hardline from it to a softline to the pump that way it can pull air from the filter into the valve cover pick some oil up and go into the pump

Just put a small valve on the bottom of your water/oil seperator and run it back to the fill plug on your compressor. When you see if with a couple of ounces of oil in it crack the valve open while the compressor is running and it will force the oil back into the unit.
All filled up again..
