Last weekend at Moab I noticed that Chris V's Rancho lifted Wrangler springs have (sortof) military wraps - the 2nd leaf comes around the end of the main leaf, but does not completely encompass it. It's there for safety, if the main leaf breaks you don't loose control of your axle.... :rasta: The military wrap also helps some with axle wrap. When the axle torques, it has to bend two full leafs instead of just one.
