A friend of mine is going to be putting in some gears and I don't have a clue how to take these things apart. I am a Toyota guy. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Calipers are held on by 13mm bolts, not allens 2. No info on the carrier. Bob kodak 02-22-2002, 09:29 AM At least I didn't give the freaken fawkin newbie :flipoff2: answer. remove driveshaft. break lose the pinon nut. remove tires/jack it up 2 bolts for the caliper bungie cord to hold the caliper up 1/2" 12 point for the 3 bolts that hold the spindle to the outer knuckle. oill pan under diff remove cover plate. remove carrier bearing caps. slide out carrier.
