I'm looking for a truck bed type toolbox that will fit in the back of my '82 Blazer. There was an article a few years ago in Peterson's where they did one, but I can't find it. I was hoping to find something that will fit along the side of the bed over the wheel welll so I can still use what little cargo area there is. I looked at some from Craftsman, but I think I'd have to take off the tailgate. Does anybody have something like what I need in their rig or know where I could find out?

I've seen people using ammo boxes which you can get cheap from the salvation army. They're generally 11x10x6 or so and are water proof. What size do you need?

I'm looking for something big enough to hold all my tools, spare parts, and spare fluids. Right now I'm using a metal box about 3'x2'x1.5'. It's big enough for all my tools and crap, but I haven't bolted it down because it takes up 90% of the cargo area. I want something that I can bolt down and forget about.

look at catologs from manufacrurers of in bed tool boxes. My brother has a pair of aluminum diamond plate ones that go over the fenderwells, but I don't know who makes em.

I dont know if they would be too long after the wheelwell in a blazer though
