well been hunting for a tranny to use in my zuki. Well i found soemthing that is short enough.

Well i found "something"

Im realy not sure the model figured Id ask you guys, it looks like a New Process Toploader, except just satys GM on the side. Wasnt quite sure what the hell it came out of till i looked next to the van it was in. Well it came out of a school bus C60 from the 70's, the tranny brake setup matched up with the bus. its 20 inches long from tip of input to output. Anyone have any insight? The bus originaly had a 350 powerplant in it if that matters. Its a 4 speed with a close reverse if that affects much. Now assuming that its just a normal 350 clutch disk to match up to the tranny, whats the smallest clutch disk available for a 350?

you should be able to go with a 10 1/2" if you use a standard flywheel. it sounds like you have the one with the 11" drum brake for a parking brake on the rear of it.

10 1/2 is the smallest, the only reason i ask is i dont plan to use it with a chey engine, there jsut to big for the application using ti with a old ford 60 degree 6, fits liek a glove, jsut need shorter drivetrain length.
