When I was researching this shifter setup, I had a helluva time finding any good detail pictures of anyones work. So, I decided to post up what I did in the hopes it'll help someone else.

Most of the shifters I saw required moving the shifter hole in the floorpan and making new pivot mounts. I decided to try to make mine work with the stock pivot location and come through the stock hole in the floor pan. So far it seems to have achieved those goals.

The doubler is a Stazworks kit with the 205 clocked about two inches up. The 205 shift rail adapters are 1/4" bar stock because that's what fit the slots well. The rods are 3/8 cold rolled threaded for heim ends. The shifter arms are 1/4" by 1 1/2" bar stock to prevent twisting.

When you clocked your 205 did you make your own ring or use someone elses?
looks awesome.

I used the stock mounting bolt, so the spacers are actually 1/2 inch lengths of 1", 11ga DOM welded inside the shifter arms. This helps to stabilize them a bit.

It's the 2-piece version of the Stazworks doubler. I clocked the 205 where I wanted it and welded the adapter in that posisition. It could have gone up a bit more :(

so your 205 is still lower than the 203?

a little off the subject, but what 203 did you use?

I really like your linkage for the rear shifter, that's right slick. I've been having issues bending my setup and I may just have to procure your idea. Nice pictures, any more?

Just a hair. I didn't have real good clearance to set the clocking, so I just did my best and came up a bit short. Both cases are high enough that it should be easy to skidplate them. I don't think either is more than 2 inches below the frame.

Ford from a 1979 F-150.

I kinda stole that from ORD, they show it pretty clearly in their triple stick promo picture. I found it on one or two other sites as well.

Lotsa pics at my Superford page. (http://www.superford.org/vehicles/registry/detail.php?id=535) Scroll to the bottom and select the doubler section.

I know I'll get flamed for this one but where did you get those rod ends? i have looked everywhere (not on the net) and can't find them. Does fastenal or another industrial supply company carry them?

Any race car shop......... I found them as small as 10-32 to fit a B&M shifter cable, and big enough for suspension links

I have the ORD shifter kit and it is very simular to yours. Nice way to make it your own though. :)

I got these from Summit Racing. Probably not the cheapest place to get them, but I had a bunch of other stuff coming anyway :grinpimp:

I'd like to get the ORD kit.... but since I will have time... I will just rig up my own Triple stick setup. If I can't do it then I will slap down the cash...
