I have an 89 Blazer full size with an Sm465 and an NP 241, I'm thinking about putting an NP 205 in it but i'm not sure what it's got for an output shaft on the tranny. Is it the 10 Spline or the 32 long spline (not too sure about that). I know that the spline counts change depending on the year of the t-case and tranny. can anyone help me out and give me some information? i know it's a pretty basic question but i keep getting conflicting answers from people i talk to. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

that has the long 32 spline output.

to use an NP205 you either need the stock 32 spline 465/205 adapter and then a 205 with the long 32 spl input gear, or use the adapter you have and buy or make a spacer to adapt it to the 205 (the 205 adapter is longer).

I have actually been looking for a 465/241 setup, theyre a little harder to find but have a great low range.
