How much lift can you get out of doing a springover on an FJ60??? What does this involve?? You have to weld new perches on the top of the axle?... What about a track bar in the rear... what about the steering???

try asking yourself this:
how much lift do i want

without much work and a springover/2" body lift combo, its not difficult to be 14" above standard height

to me, this..on a 60 series, wioth a full roof, probly a roof rack and lots of glass is a disaster waiting to happen

60 series guy has a springover, and OMEs on his 60 and it looks proportional with 35s and a rack and lots of goodies!!!

on my 40 with springover/spring lift/body lift the 35s dun got to little!! WAYYYY too little, it jsut looks stupid!! :( :eek:

typically your looking at 5-6" with nothing more than the SOA.but if you are asking all these Q's you got alot of research to do before attempting this mod. do a search, look at woodys site IH8MUD.COM and then decide for yourself.

I've had mine sprung over for about 5 years, used it as a daily driver for most of those 5 years, and wheeled it all over the place including The hammers, Moab, Colorado, Rubicon, Fordyce, so I laugh! I've done a few SOA's on FJ60's for people that use them as daily drivers and weekend wheelers, and they all seem to be happy with them. Here's a few shots of mine and Justin's (USFSIHC) FJ60's.
