I'm picking up a 2000 half ton silverado this week sometime. (If I sell my car) I've test driven it, and towed my jeep with it. It does pretty well, but I'd like to get some more out of the motor without doing anything too drastic. What's available for these engines? If it was a modular ford engine, I'd be all over it, but I'm new to the chevy world. I'd like to get a 3/4 ton diesel, but that's a lot of $$. I gotta make this one work for me. Thanks.

power programmer , thermostat , flows , someone prolly makes underdrive pulleys (but i hatem) , cold air intake dealy, whipple. i'd just go w/ the programmer and thermostat and flows.noticable difference. good luck. billy
