Just found out about this, awesome! ALTHOUGH this does NOT help with the lawsuit, it does show we are working with the county and this looks good for us and the Rubicon trail. Please keep sending your donations into BRC so we can WIN this lawsuit and shove it in the greenies faces!!!
GREAT news on the Rubicon
from OHV Commissioner Daphne Green:
Dear Del,
By now you may have heard that last week the OHMVR Commission
allocated $226,000 to El Dorado County for work to get started on the
Rubicon. Among other things this funding will go towards the designation
of the trail - something which is vitally important for all of us - as
well as some preliminary environmental documentation. It also helps fund
county law enforcement via the sheriff. The cooperation between the
Forest Service and the County has been very good thus far and is
expected to continue in the future.
Later in the day, the Lake Tahoe Basin Managment Unit presented their
grant and also
received approval.
